LOWELL, MA, February 1, 2000 – ZipLink, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZIPL), a provider of wholesale Internet connectivity in the United States and Canada, today announced that it has signed an agreement with TheWebExplained.com ("WebExplained") to provide ZipLink's ISP customers with the WebExplained online interactive demonstration tool that simplifies Internet use.
The WebExplained provides a completely web-based interactive demo explaining the use of the Internet, browsers, e-mail, search engines, chat rooms, games and much more via simulation. The online instructional programs are presented in modules and can be customized to include an ISP's logo and brand identity. The WebExplained will be translated into 21 languages and will be offered free to ZipLink's ISP customers.
